A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Old Forester, bottled at barrel strength of 65.4% (130.7 proof) in a 75cl bottle. This is the 'Happy Holidays' Kentucky Exclusive release.
The barrel was hand-selected and comes from Warehouse I, floor 4.
The nose is rich with caramel, subtle nuttiness and citrus zest, along with bright orange, vanilla custard, chocolate-covered caramel and macadamia. The palate has an elegant texture and moderate body, with spiced cherry, cardamom, dark chocolate and cooling winter mint. The finish is long and mellow, with candied red fruit, baking spice and a little peppercorn.
