Paul John Brilliance Indian Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Brilliance is an unpeated Indian single malt in the Paul John core range, made in Goa from malted barley. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with no age statement, no chill-filtration and no added colour. The whisky matured in American oak casks. John Distilleries, founded in 1996 by Paul P. John, makes and bottles it. The nose combines demerara sugar and honey with cinnamon and a little further spice. The palate is honeyed and sweet-spicy, with cocoa and a crisp pastry note. The finish is relaxed and mildly spicy, with deep vanilla and American oak lingering.
