Paul John Brilliance is an Indian single malt from Goa, made by John Distilleries and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from six-row barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, double distilled in copper pot stills and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It is bottled without chill filtration. The nose is fresh honey, sweet vanilla and demerara sugar, with barley and light oak underneath. The palate is creamy, with honeyed barley, citrus, gentle vanilla, a little cocoa and delicate spice. The finish is medium to long, warm with sweet spice, toasted oak and honey.
