Paul John Christmas Edition 2021 is an Indian single malt from Goa, the fourth year in which the distillery has released a Christmas malt. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in three stages in ex-bourbon casks and in port and madeira casks, in Goa's tropical climate, which speeds up maturation.
The nose offers caramel, orange marmalade, berries, malt, coconut and dried raisins. The palate is creamy and spicy, with very light smoke, pastry and malted tones. The finish is long and warm, with cocoa, light smoke and exotic spices.
