Paul John Christmas Edition 2022 is an Indian single malt, the fifth release in the distillery's Christmas series. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is made from six-row barley grown in the Himalayan region and matured in Goa. Its finish draws on three kinds of cask: bourbon, brandy and smoked Oloroso sherry.
The nose offers sweet oak, dried spices, baked apples and peaches, and dark chocolate. On the palate it is sweet and smooth, with mild peat, orange-tinged dark chocolate, plum cake and cream caramel. The finish is deep and creamy, with hazelnuts and dark chocolate.
