Paul John – Classic Select Cask Single Malt (70cl, 55.2%)

Paul John Classic Select Cask is an unpeated Indian single malt, bottled at cask strength, 55.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from six-row barley grown in the Himalayan foothills, with the climate and water of Goa, under master distiller Michael D'Souza. The whisky was matured only in ex-bourbon American oak casks and is bottled without chill-filtration. The house style is oily and fruity, with honey sweetness and a floral, creamy side. The nose offers fruit, malt, honey and hints of bourbon. The palate brings malted barley, bourbon and toasted honeycomb, and the finish is long and soft, with juicy demerara.
