Paul John Edited is a single malt from Goa, India, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery has been making whisky there since 2008. The barley is grown at the foot of the Himalayas, and the whisky matures in Goa's tropical climate, where the angel's share runs at around 8% a year. It is bottled without chill-filtration. The nose offers honey and cocoa with smoke, espresso and fruit. On the palate, grassy barley notes lead into gentle peat and smoke, then mint and mocha. The finish is long, with spice, mint chocolate and a trace of peat.
