Primitivo Puglia IGT Rosso Infinitum from Torrevento is a red wine made strictly from Primitivo grapes, expressing the warm, sunny climate of southern Italy. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruit such as plums and blackberries, sweet spice, vanilla and a light touch of tobacco from balanced ageing in barrique. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with solid structure balanced by acidity, soft mature tannins and notable persistence, leaving a pleasantly spicy and fruity finish. It suits robust red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
