A red wine from Puglia made mainly from Nero di Troia. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as plums and cherries, with delicate spicy and vanilla notes from wood ageing. On the palate it is solid and well balanced, with elegant, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a persistent, pleasantly aromatic finish. It suits traditional Puglian dishes, grilled or braised red meats, and aged, savoury cheeses.
