Rebel Bourbon 100 Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Lux Row Distillery in Bardstown and bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof.
The mash bill is wheated, with wheat taking the place of rye as the secondary grain alongside corn and malted barley. The bourbon matures in new, heavily charred American oak and is bottled without chill filtration.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla, honey, toasted oak and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is softly sweet, with caramel, vanilla, wheat, oak and warm spice, and the finish is long and peppery, with oak and caramel.
