Remus Repeal Reserve Series VII 2023 Medley (75cl)

Remus Repeal Reserve Series VII 2023 Medley is a limited-edition bourbon made at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to mark the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. It is the seventh release in the series. It blends five high-rye bourbons aged between 9 and 16 years, distilled in 2007, 2013 and 2014, drawing on two of the distillery's high-rye mash bills. The nose is caramelised pecans, maple syrup and candied cherry, with brown butter and a hint of old leather. The palate is caramel, maple and brown sugar with barrel char and peppery cinnamon. The finish is long, with cinnamon and peppermint fading to vanilla, dark caramel and toasted oak.
