Sansibar Ardbeg 15 Year Old is a single malt from the White Label series, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024 at 52.8% ABV. It matured in a sherry butt and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines polished oak, wet tobacco, garden herbs and smouldering oak with a hint of lemon. The palate offers sticky date pudding, raisins, sultanas, figs, stewed plums, dark chocolate, ginger, Valencia oranges and earthy smoke. The finish brings dark toffee, earthy oak, cigar boxes, white pepper and smouldering heather.
