Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered Straight Bourbon (75cl, 58%)

Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered is a straight bourbon bottled at barrel strength, at 58% ABV, without chill filtration. It comes from Nevada H&C Distilling Co., using whiskey distilled at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and blended in Las Vegas. The mashbill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. Older barrels, which add a creamy texture, are blended with younger ones that bring delicate fruit and caramel, and no water is added before bottling. The nose offers brown sugar, caramel, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied and viscous, with toffee, dark fruit, cinnamon and rye spice. The finish is long and warming, with rye spice, charred oak and caramel.
