Smokehead Rum Cask Rebel XLE is an Islay single malt bottled by the independent bottler Ian MacLeod, in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition made for the German market.
After its initial maturation the whisky was finished in Caribbean rum casks, which adds intensity and fruitiness. It was bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtration.
