Smokehead Unfiltered is an Islay single malt in the Mystery Malts range from Ian MacLeod Distillers, added in 2024 as the range's non-chill-filtered whisky. It matured in oak casks and is bottled at 46% ABV. Skipping chill filtration and the oak maturation are meant to give a more complex aroma. It won Gold at the CLASS Bartender Brand Awards 2024.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
