Springbank 8 Year Old Fresh Madeira Cask is a single malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, created for members of the Springbank Society. It is bottled at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle.
Six fresh Madeira hogsheads were filled with new-make spirit in February 2017, and the whisky spent all eight years in that wood rather than being finished in it. It was bottled in August 2025, producing 1,761 bottles.
The nose opens with rhubarb stalk and leather, then fruit compote, brandy sultanas and gentle peat smoke. On the palate there are forest fruits, namely blackberries and raspberries.
