Suntory Royal Slim Bottle (66cl, 43%)

Suntory Royal is a Japanese blended whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, first launched in 1960 for the company's 60th anniversary. This version comes in the Slim Bottle, a tall, slender 66cl bottle that holds the same whisky as the standard Royal in its 70cl bottle. The blend includes Yamazaki malt matured in puncheon casks and Hakushu malt filtered through bamboo charcoal. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 43%. It is described as having a sweet, elegant aroma, a silky texture and a clean finish, with the emphasis on harmony rather than power.
