Suntory Toki is a blended Japanese whisky. Toki means time in Japanese, and the blend brings together the House of Suntory's heritage and its newer ideas. Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo gives Chita grain whisky equal standing with Hakushu malt, rather than treating it as a base. Yamazaki malt is added for depth. The nose has soft orchard fruits and thyme honey, with a little peppermint behind. On the palate, green apple and pink grapefruit sit over bitter herbs, toasted almonds and vanilla oak.
