The Balvenie Week of Peat is a 14-year-old Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, made from peated malt.
The stills at Balvenie are cleaned once a year, and the distillery uses the week before that clean to distil peated malt. The peat comes from Speyside, and the whisky was matured exclusively in American oak for 14 years.
The result is a smoky malt that still keeps the softness and roundness associated with Balvenie.
