The Glenlivet 12 Years Old Excellence is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is amber gold in colour. The nose is soft and fruity, with ripe pear, vanilla and light honey, lifted by zesty orange peel and a delicate hazelnut oak note.
Fruit, honey and pear come forward on the palate, joined by dark chocolate, ginger, cinnamon and liquorice root. The finish is notable, harmonious and lingering.
