Tyrconnell 10 Years Madeira Cask Finish is an Irish single malt from Cooley Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for ten years in American oak barrels before a finish in Madeira wine casks.
The nose brings ripe apple, citrus, honey and vanilla, with raisins and light nutty notes from the Madeira. The palate is round and balanced, with stone fruit, caramel, soft spices and a vinous sweetness. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly dry, balancing fruit and oak.
