This is a small batch wheated bourbon from Wilderness Trail Distillery, a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled in bond at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is sweet vanilla and charred oak. The palate opens with caramel and vanilla, then moves to oak, cinnamon and blood orange, with a mouth-coating texture. The finish is long and sweet, with oak spices, toffee and dark fruits.
