Writers Tears Cask Strength 2015 is an Irish single malt from Walsh Whiskey, a company founded in southern Ireland in 1999. It is bottled at cask strength and was released in an outturn of 2100 bottles.
The colour is pale. The nose is light and fruity, with apples and pears, apricot, a hint of caramel and sweet pastille.
On the palate it is sweet and buttery, with yellow pears and apples, caramel and pastille. The finish is long and sweet, with a slightly burnt note.
