Wyoming Whiskey – Outryder (75cl, 50%)

Outryder is an American whiskey from Wyoming Whiskey of Kirby, Wyoming, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the distillery's first whiskey made with rye grain. Two mash bills are blended together. One is 48% winter rye, 40% corn and 12% malted barley, the other 68% corn, 20% winter rye and 12% malted barley. The grains are non-GMO and come from farms near Byron, Wyoming. The nose is typically described as brown sugar, vanilla, barrel char and rye spice. On the palate come coconut and toffee pudding, then rye spice at mid-palate. The finish is long, dry at first and then tingly, with oak, vanilla and brown sugar.
