Wyoming Whiskey – Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl, 44%)

This is a wheated single barrel bourbon from Wyoming Whiskey in Kirby, Wyoming, bottled at 44% in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, all grown in Wyoming. The spirit is aged for a minimum of five years in the distillery's rickhouse, where large seasonal swings in temperature push it in and out of the barrel char. The nose brings pecan pie, vanilla, dark honey and peanut butter. The palate shows caramel nougat, vanilla, roasted oak, cinnamon and white chocolate, with black tea and pear. The finish is medium-long, with liquorice, cedar and honey-baked bread.
